What was recalled
This recall involves IPEX cement and primer products. This recall is not applicable to products that were sold for professional or industrial uses.
Why it was recalled
The recalled products do not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The lack of appropriate labelling information and child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury including death.
As of June 25, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and refer to the IPEX Inc. company website for further instructions on disposal of the products.
