Why it was recalled

The product presents a risk of choking due to the textile safety label attached to the harness strap (pictured). This label may detach, creating a small part. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and choke.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

What to do

The product has been recalled from end users by Decathlon. We recommend that you keep this product out of reach of children until the label is removed. Decathlon has advised consumers to:

  1. Check the shoulder harness strap on the seat

  2. If the textile label shown in the image is present, completely cut it off the harness strap.

  3. Once the label has been removed, the choking hazard is eliminated, and the seat may be used.

  4. If the seat does not have this label, it is not affected.
