What was recalled

A face-tracking webcam designed for use in virtual reality environments.

Why it was recalled

The product presents a risk of fire because the design and assembly of the housing may provide inadequate support for the internal circuit board, causing it to become detached during normal use. This may cause internal electrical components to come into contact with one another, resulting in a short circuit and presenting a risk of overheating and fire.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
