What was recalled
This recall involves Woodure-branded children’s tower kitchen step stool, model WD1357. The tower stool is made of plywood and measures 45.7cm deep by 42.9cm wide by 87.9 cm high. The product label identifies the model as WD1357.
Why it was recalled
The recalled tower stool model WD 1357 can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall, and entrapment hazards.
As of September 6, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries from these products in Canada.
