What was recalled

This recall involves the Steambow Archery AR-Series Laser Sight (Green), Model# 0000361 with UPC 8 12237 03065 7. The laser sight integrates with the rig via a solid aluminum mount. The green laser provides visibility with a wavelength of 532 nm and <5 mW power. The pack contains a green laser sight, battery, mount for installing on the magazine and necessary screws and tools.

Why it was recalled

Health Canada has determined, after testing, that this product is classified as a Class 3B handheld portable laser. Use of Class 3B or 4 handheld portable lasers present an increased risk to consumers of permanent eye injury. Injuries can result from the laser beam being directed in the eyes, even from short unintentional exposure. 

As of ​May 22, 2026​, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada and no reports of injury. 

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to Leapfrog Outdoor Sports and Apparel for a refund.
