What was recalled
This recall involves various Springs cellular shades.
The cellular shades are made-to-order, which vary in size, fabric, color, single or double honeycomb, lift type and end cap colors based on the customer's selections. The product label, located on the top of the headrail of the shades, will display the following identifying information: (i) a model number (see table below) in the upper righthand corner of the label; (ii) the manufacturer identified as "SWF Middleton, WI US C"; and (iii) a manufacture date in the lower right corner in either YYYY/MM/DD or YY/MM/DD format.
Why it was recalled
Health Canada has determined that the recalled blinds do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations, posing a choking hazard. The end caps on the bottom rail may not be glued and can release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children.

As of May 19, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Springs if the end caps on the bottom rail are not securely glued. If the end caps are glued, no action is required and consumers may continue to use the product.
