What was recalled
This recall involves Interior roller window blinds housed within a cassette with an operating chain with a chain guard. The model is Roller Blinds with Cassette system with lot code February 4, 2026. Product label can be found on the Roller Blinds Cassette on the top of the cassette right side.
Why it was recalled
Health Canada has determined that the recalled blinds do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death.

As of August 4, 2026, the company has received no reports of incident or injury in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Omni Blinds to obtain a repair kit.
