What was recalled

This recall involves custom-made corded zebra window covering / zebra blind sold and professionally installed by Rideaux Rêvés Décor. The products were available in various custom-selected colours and fabric patterns.

The product is operated by a continuous-loop operating cord. A wall-mounted P-clip was supplied and installed during professional installation also include a cord-shielding sleeve.

Why it was recalled

Health Canada has determined that the recalled window covering do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard and a choking hazard. The window covering could potentially release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children.

Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Window Covering Safety page.
