What was recalled

This recall involves certain Mondraker mountain bicycles equiped with ONOFF S9 Carbon MTB handlebars. The bicycle serial number is located on the underside of the bottom bracket area of the frame.

Why it was recalled

The ONOFF S9 Carbon MTB handlebar can crack or fracture during use. If the handlebar breaks while riding, the rider may lose control of the bicycle, posing a fall hazard that may result in serious injury or death.

As of September 23, 2026, the company has received no reports of breakage or injury in Canada.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact an authorized Mondraker dealer to schedule a handlebar replacement. Consumers can verify whether their bicycle is affected through the serial number verification tool provided by Mondraker.

For more information, consumers can contact Mondraker HQ by email at [email protected] or visit the company website.
