What was recalled

This recall involves Goal Zero YETI 3000X power stations. The silver and black portable power stations measure about 62 centimetres (24.4 inches) high, 47 centimetres (18.5 inches) wide, 57 centimetres (22.3 inches) deep and weigh approximately 42 kilograms (92 pounds). The power stations have yellow handles and a digital display at the front with electrical ports. The power stations sit on a rolling cart with built-in wheels and a telescoping handle. The Goal Zero logo is printed on the front bar of the cart and on a nameplate located on the underside of the power station’s lid along with “YETI 3000X”.

Why it was recalled

The recalled power station’s circuit board may overheat, posing a risk of fire and burn hazards.

As of August 31, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injury in Canada.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and install the free YETI 3000X firmware update available through the Goal Zero application or contact Goal Zero for the firmware installation at no cost.
