What was recalled

This recall involves Char-Broil Bistro Pro™ Electric Grill + Charcoal Mode manufactured between October and December 2025 with SKU 25302177 and UPC 099143021775. The product label, which identifies the model and serial number (which includes a manufacturing date code), is located on the bottom shelf of full-size grills, and on the side bar of tabletop models. Only products manufactured between October and December 2025 are captured by this recall. The 4-digit date code (in YYMM format) is part of the unit serial number.

Why it was recalled

The grounding wire for the heating element can disconnect and lose fault protection, posing a potential electric shock hazard.

As of August 26, 2026, the company has received no reports of incident or injury in Canada. In the United States, there have been no reports of incident or injury.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Char-Broil to obtain a repair kit.

To register for the recall and request a free repair kit, customers should use the online order form at charbroil.com/BistroProFix. The repair kit consists of instructions for accessing and securing the grounding wire connection, the tools required to perform the repair (long-extension screwdriver and 5/16” (8mm) wrench), and a label to place on the unit to certify that the rework has been performed. A video demonstrating the repair steps is available here: https://www.charbroil.com/2026BistroProRepairVideo. Char-Broil is offering a $25 gift card, valid at participating retailers, to consumers who provide documentation of the completed repair.
