What was recalled
Plastic bag with a watertight and dust tight closure mechanism consisting of sealing strips with embedded permanent magnets that automatically close and seal the bag.
Affected products are Medi size and have petrol blue coloured sealing strips with the lot number 2409140930201, which is located on back of sealing strip.
Why it was recalled
Due to a manufacturing defect, the sealing strips may come away from the bag allowing individual magnets to fall out.
What to do
- Check the lot number on the bag. If the bag has the affected lot number on it, immediately stop using the bag and place out of reach of children.
- Cut the bag with scissors so that it is unusable and take a photograph of the bag with the lot number visible.
- Return the product to the place of purchase for a free replacement or a full refund.
