What was recalled
A black and red spatula marked with 03/25 date stamp.
Why it was recalled
The affected spatulas present a health risk because they contain methylenedianiline at levels above the permitted limit. This substance may migrate into food during normal use, potentially posing a risk to consumer health.
The product does not meet the requirements of The Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (England) Regulations 2012 or the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
What to do
The product has been recalled from end users by TK Maxx.
Owners are advised to stop using the product immediately and return it to their nearest TK Maxx or Homesense store for a refund or replacement.
