What was recalled
Multiple models of carabiners for use in climbing. Please see Annex A for further product details.
Why it was recalled
The wire gate riveting on the carabiners may break or detach. If this occurs while the product is in use at height, the user could fall and receive serious injuries.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
What to do
The product has been recalled from end users by Decathlon.
