What was recalled
Urban-style e-bike. To check whether a bicycle is included in the recall, locate the stamped code as pictured above for “19A.” If the code contains 19A, the bicycle belongs to the affected batch and is subject to recall.
Why it was recalled
The product presents a risk of injuries as the welded joint in the middle of the frame may fail. This could cause the frame to break during use, causing the user to fall and receive injuries.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

The product has been recalled from end users by ORBEA UK.
Affected consumers should stop riding the bike immediately and take it to their closest Orbea dealer for a replacement frame.
Dealers should use the KIDE platform to open a claim with ORBEA.
