Why it was recalled
The product presents a risk of electric shock as it was found that the grounding wire for the heating element may not be fully tightened. This creates the potential for disconnection of the grounding wire and loss of fault protection, posing a risk of electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
What to do
The product has been withdrawn from the market and recalled from end users by Char-Broil Europe GmbH.
